Adrian Tuazon-McCheyne

Facilitator & Learning Experience Designer, Melbourne

I work with leadership teams who are stuck — on strategy, on each other, or on what to do next.

I design and run structured sprints that move teams from misalignment to documented clarity. Fast.

Foundation Lab

A structured alignment sprint for leadership teams and founding teams who need to get on the same page before they build the wrong thing.

When your team is pulling in different directions, or strategy looks agreed on paper but isn't showing up in decisions, Foundation Lab surfaces what's actually going on and gets it resolved. You leave with documented outputs: a founding hypothesis, agreed priorities, decision criteria, and a shared direction everyone has bought into.

It works best as the centrepiece of a leadership off-site, strategy day, or annual planning session, and for teams navigating restructures, new leadership, or a direction that isn't landing.

A natural fit for startups — where alignment can't wait and the cost of misalignment is highest.

Half-day to three days. Scoped to your situation before we start.

Unconscious Bias & DEI

Shifts awareness into behaviour. Designed for teams and organisations who want change that sticks, not a compliance tick.

Facilitation for Leaders

For leaders who want to run better rooms — not just attend them. Facilitation as a leadership capability, not an off-site skill.

Learning Experience Design

Custom program design for organisations with complex learning challenges that a generic workshop won't solve.

Emotional Culture Workshops

Using the Emotional Culture Deck to help teams name and shape the emotions that drive how they work.

I'm a facilitator and learning experience designer based in Melbourne.

I help leaders and teams do the hard work of thinking and working better together. My practice is grounded in:

I co-founded The Equality Project and the Centre for Civil Dialogue — two ventures focused on equity, inclusion, and better public conversation.

"It was engaging, well thought out and will leave our community well placed to start the long journey to making meaningful change."

Most of my work comes through referral. If someone sent you here, feel free to get in touch directly.

Most mornings start with a gym session, a proper espresso, and the paper. I did a performing arts degree and used to dance — which probably explains more about how I design learning spaces than any methodology ever could.

Currently learning

French. A2, working toward B2. It's humbling in the best way.

Could talk for hours about

Photography, street epistemology, language learning, and why your Breville is capable of better coffee than most cafes.

How I spend a quiet day

Walking, reading, bullet journalling, hands in the garden.

Strongly held

A better camera doesn't make you a better photographer. The world doesn't care about our opinions — reality is indifferent to what we think about it.

One more thing

I'd rather celebrate other people than be the centre of attention. If I do something, I do it properly.

Right now I'm focused on Foundation Lab engagements with leadership teams and early-stage founding teams.

If that's relevant to something you're navigating, or if there's another way I can help — get in touch.
